The Humane Space

Interactive multimedia stories helping you’ll learn about topics ranging from literature to technology and more.

Free
The Humane Space helps you find wonder and awe in the everyday. Through interactive multimedia stories, you’ll learn about topics ranging from literature to technology, psychology to art history, philosophy to biology, and more. Discover new passions, expand your knowledge base, and engage more deeply with the world around you.
Each week, The Humane Space app introduces a new big-picture question, or Space – for example, Is language universal? or Is sight the most powerful sense? or Is immortality attainable? Every weekday, the app launches a new collection of interactive stories themed around the question of the week. Stories are presented in three super engaging, quick-hit segments: Lingo, Immerse, and Deep Think. Lingo teaches you a new vocabulary word, unpacking its meaning, etymology, and cultural significance; Immerse offers deep dives into topics ranging from astronomy to linguistics to geology; and Deep Think offers creative prompts that stimulate the mind, awaken the senses, and encourage self-reflection.
More space for reflection. More space for contemplation. More space for meaning.
